Story
Japan's job-market "ice age." The protagonist, a final-year university student looking for work, sees a notice for a detective's assistant on a neighborhood board and visits a detective agency at the edge of the shopping street.
The director hires the protagonist on the spot as a trainee, says he'll be away for a while, and leaves the office.
Together with a senior detective, the director's daughter, the protagonist starts looking into the requests that come in.
About the game
This is a retro-flavored, command-based detective adventure made in the style of adventure games on classic Japanese PCs such as the PC-88/98 and X68000.
You choose commands such as Look, Talk, Examine and Move to question people and investigate.
The graphics use a "line & paint"-style look modeled on those classic PCs: each scene is drawn on screen from line art to color.
The game is set in an old neighborhood in suburban Tokyo in the early 2000s, and consists of a prologue and 13 chapters.
