About This Game
Grandpa left you three things: the farm, a bag of carrot seeds, and his old revolver. You're going to need all three.
Your farm is under siege from the sky. By night you plant, harvest, shop and plan. By day the crows come, wave after wave and more of them every morning, and you meet them in first person. You start with Grandpa's revolver and work up to shotguns, SMGs, a grenade launcher, an RPG and, for some reason, a katana. Back them up with auto turrets, sprinklers and scarecrows, and when it all goes wrong, radio in the Crop Duster or call down a nuke. Fire a rocket into a circling flock and watch the birds rain out of the sky. Snatch one off your tomatoes and throw it. Keep everything watered while you shoot, because every peck and every dry hour is yield you never get back.
Bring friends. Up to three farmers can work the same farm in online co-op. You share one wallet and one truck order, vote on one perk every night, and get proximity voice chat for yelling across the cornfield. The flock grows with your crew.
Farmed & Dangerous is a roguelite where killing earns you nothing (golden birds excepted): the crops are the economy, and you are their heavily armed babysitter. Sell your harvest to pay for seeds, turrets and air support, or stockpile it for the delivery truck that rolls in every few days demanding a bigger order. Miss the order and the run is over. Every night, pick one of three perks to bend the run your way. Between runs, spend your hard-earned Cores on land that stays yours, new guns for the armory wall, and a basement grow room for the one crop the truck driver doesn't need to know about. Then start again a little stronger, on a farm that gets a little louder every day.
