Imagine yourself diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. How would you see the world? What emotions would you experience? What would your symptoms look like?
Distant aims to answer these questions by putting you in the shoes of someone with Alzheimer's disease. In this first-person 10-minute experience, you will experience some of the symptoms that those with Alzheimer's face every day.
With some simple puzzles and games, you can expect to gain an understanding of:
- The fears
- Auditory hallucinations
- and disorientation
that those with Alzheimer's may suffer from.
You will also gain an understanding of some of the safety precautions that one can take to ensure a safe environment for those with Alzheimer's.
