Desktop Gugu: Cozy Idle Pet

Desktop Gugu is a small idle companion game that lives along the bottom of your screen. Adopt little helpers, assign them work, and sweep up their resources while you work, study, or relax.

Two companions, two jobs

The launch version includes two species: a mining duck and a leaf-topped mushroom Gugu. The duck gathers crystals while the mushroom gathers timber from a sacred tree. Both resource sites keep producing without being depleted.

Collect, sell, and recruit

Sweep your mouse over crystals and timber to collect them, then sell resources from your inventory for coins. Buy food, recruit more companions, and unlock automatic collection and a feeder to fit your own pace.

Care for your pets and combine talents

Feed and drag your companions, wake them when they slack off, and watch their working, resting, and hungry states. Develop your ducks through leveling, devouring, and fusion, and recruit mushroom companions with different logging talents. Mushroom companions do not participate in the fusion workshop. Try different combinations of output, work speed, and fullness.

A companion at your own pace

Includes introductory goals, three local save slots, Simplified Chinese and English interfaces, selectable background music, and controls for volume, always-on-top behavior, desktop position, and mouse passthrough. Keep playing after completing the introductory goals.

Launch content consists of the two species and the mining and logging activities described above.
