About This Game
Choose your Empires, equip them with items to shape your build, and amplify it with the Domains you uncover on the frontier—then combine their strengths to hold back the undead.
Every Empire brings its own set of buildings and its own rules for how they work together. No two Empires are built to win the same way.
Items pull every run in a direction of its own. Some feed the economy, some strengthen your defenses, some rewrite how an Empire works.
Missing the item you need? Transmute what you have into something that fits.
Domains change the rules of the ground you fight on. They don't add to your build, they multiply it.
Every run generates a new frontier. Each new region you claim brings more ground to build on and more ground to defend. Push out for the resources you need, and the enemy gets a longer front to hit you along.
Experience from campaigns and replays goes into permanent upgrades for the empires you've unlocked. Stronger Empires open up harder regions and longer runs.
Special points buy castle health and extra slots for items and relics. More room to build with, run after run.
Hand-textured stone and timber, forests that shift with the season of each biome, and enemy hordes you can read from across the map.
