Description
Someone you have never met seems to be having a bad week, and it is your job to prepare a comforting box for them.
The box always has a unique shape and it is always smaller than your deck, so the question is what ends up next to what. No timer. Nothing to look up.
Wool Socks want something warm against them. The Snow Globe wants the exact opposite. Hold something over a gap and it sparkles, or it shivers, depending on what items are already placed next to it.
You fold the flaps and drag the tape across the lid yourself. The parcel joins today's row behind you, the light moves on, and at dusk a flea market lays out six finds with one of them free.
Fifteen boxes, Monday to Friday. A badly drafted week can hand you a Friday box that will not go, and it stays that way. A bad week ends as "End of Shift" and you go home.
Then Monday. A hundred weeks in, your hands are exactly as good as they were on the first one. You simply know more people. Or more people know you :P
