Contested Space is a roguelike deckbuilder for solo or 2-4 player co-op, inspired by Star Realms and Slay the Spire. Every battle, ships and stations rotate through your personal market. Buy them mid-fight and they join your deck for that battle, so every turn is a trade-off: firepower now, or a stronger engine a few turns from now?
Features
Buy mid-battle. Your personal market rotates throughout every fight. Spend on damage now or on economy that pays off before the fight ends.
Solo or online co-op. Team up with 2-4 players, each with their own market, against tougher enemies built for groups.
Deploy stations that attack and grant bonuses every turn.
Nine factions, three alliances. Field the disciplined Terran Compact, the symbiotic Chitin Sovereignty, or the mechanical Axiom Union, or play Neutral within your alliance for flexible cross-faction synergies.
Every run is different. Branching star maps, random elites, hidden events, and unique bosses.
25+ escalating Incursion levels add new modifiers and threats for players chasing mastery.
