Description
About This Game
Checkpoint-13 is an atmospheric border control simulator with Survival/RPG elements, set in the familiar universe of the Zone but opening a new chapter. After the second "Emission," the Zone could not be contained — it was isolated, and a network of checkpoints grew around it. You are a low-ranking customs officer working at an old Soviet terminal amidst swamps and rusty power lines.
Your job is to filter chaos.
Every working day you inspect people, cargo, artifacts, and mutated samples. Verify documents, check biometrics, use a Geiger counter and anomaly detector. Decide who to let through, who to detain, and who to send back into the radioactive Zone.
But the Zone does not remain the same.
Today an artifact can be taken out of the Zone, and tomorrow it may be deadly to others. Others constantly try to penetrate from the fog — creatures that mimic humans.
Daytime — routine and melancholy. Evening — random events and action.
A working day lasts 15–20 minutes, during which you must process as many visitors as possible with minimal mistakes. But besides routine, you face moral dilemmas: take a bribe or act according to conscience, help a comrade or turn him in, enrich yourself or preserve Humanity.
In the evening
You can relax by the campfire, listen to stalkers' tales, drink and talk with the inhabitants of the checkpoint.
