About This Game
Chess, reimagined.
Chaos Chess Definitive Edition shatters the rules of traditional chess, fusing timeless strategy with explosive fantasy tactics. Master the classic game, or draft powerful Champions and brace for board-altering Chaos Events that will test even the sharpest grandmaster.
Your purchase includes the Story Campaign, where the long forgotten Empress chess piece seeks her revenge. In addition there are seven distinct scenarios that upend the rules of the game! Face off against waves of Berserkers, rescue the Princess held captive by the opponent, and engage in a fun-filled Zombie Mode where every move risks disturbing the undead!
Build your strategy around your Champions
Forget standard openings. Choose from 34 unique Champions, each armed with specialized roles and game-changing abilities. Draft two powerful heroes before the match, hold them in reserve, and deploy them onto your home rank for a devastating tactical strike. Discover lethal synergies, shatter familiar defensive lines, and force your opponent into uncharted territory.
Survive the Chaos
Just when you think you have checkmate, the battlefield shifts. Unpredictable Chaos events can turn the tide of any match in an instant. From raging storms and debilitating curses to shifting terrain and fire-breathing dragons, you must constantly adapt your strategy. Heed the warnings, reposition your pieces, and use the chaos to trap your opponent.
