Overview
On his first day as an archive intern, Tim broke an ancient seal, freed Kaelvorn, the Cursed Devourer, and was fired on the spot. Now he has to save the world.
Description
Tim broke an age-old seal in a room he wasn't supposed to enter, in a book he wasn't supposed to open, and released Kaelvorn, the Cursed Devourer, an ancient conqueror of kingdoms, back into the world after thousands of years.
His boss fired him on the spot.
Now the world is coming apart, Kaelvorn is free, and the only thing that can bind her again is an ancient relic, shattered into three pieces, scattered across a world Tim really wasn't planning to visit.
He didn't ask for this. He's not a hero. But he broke it, so he has to fix it.
A fantasy world of cults, crumbling arenas, and thieves' guilds staffed by rats. Forbidden archives, forgotten cathedrals, an underworld with its own bureaucracy.
Tim has to visit all of it.
Puzzles designed to reward observation and lateral thinking. No moon logic, no pixel hunting, no deaths, no fail states. If you're stuck, you have what you need, you just haven't looked at it the right way yet.
Fully voiced dialogue. Every character, every line.
Hand-painted pixel art. Every location, the Archive, the tavern, the arena, the underworld, built from scratch. Each scene is its own place.
A cast worth spending time with. A roommate who treats the apocalypse as an overtime problem. A gladiator who trained eleven years for something he completely misunderstood. A banker on his first week unsupervised, aggressively convinced that banking is about belief, not gold.
Act I is on Steam now, completely free. A full chapter: the Archive, the first day, the thing that goes wrong, and the moment everything changes.
