Description
About This Game
In Bonfires of Azure, the skies are your canvas. Settle on the remnants of a shattered world—floating islands suspended in the clouds—and build a cozy sanctuary in the vast unknown. Explore, expand, and shape your village into a thriving haven while uncovering the stories these islands hold.
This is a cozy city-building game that lets you relax and focus on what matters: your perfect little world in the skies. From managing resources to earning renown, Bonfires of Azure is about creating a serene, satisfying loop of growth and discovery.
A World in the Clouds: Colonize floating islands, each with its own quirks and challenges, as you explore the fractured skies. (only one available in the demo)
Cozy Progression: Relax with no time limits or looming threats. Build at your own pace and enjoy the process of crafting your village that will grow into a thriving town. The game has no end goal, encouraging calm and steady growth, whether you play actively or let your villagers work quietly in the background.
Idle and Active Harmony: Progression happens naturally, requiring minimal input, but active play rewards short and satisfying bursts of decision-making. Whether you prefer hands-off gameplay or quick, intentional sessions, your villagers will always keep busy.
Strategic Building: Use adjacency bonuses and resource nodes to optimize your settlement for growth and prosperity.
Endless Creativity: Design, rebuild, and experiment with layouts to make each island feel uniquely yours.
Ascend and Unlock: Travel to new floating islands, converting your hard-earned renown into Ascendency points. These points allow you to unlock unique buildings and expand the horizons of your skybound sanctuary.
Whether you’re a meticulous planner or someone who simply wants to unwind, Bonfires of Azure offers a peaceful escape in a world waiting to be rediscovered.
