For skills that use runes, combine two of four options to change how they work and how you fight. Learn and strengthen skills as you level up. Explore rune combinations, passives, and hero-specific skill awakenings. Your run's skill build resets, giving you another chance to experiment with a different combination.

Every level opens the growth map, where your whole build is laid out at a glance: the skills you hold, the two runes you chose for each, and the completion move that turns every fourth cast into something far bigger. Six skill slots filled from nine skills, and every rune skill takes one of six rune pairs and one of four completion moves: that is 1,683,763,200 possible skill builds for the Dark Slayer alone, before divine power and gear.
