Walk into an art shop where everything has fallen out of order. Striking art supplies and elegant artisan pieces lie scattered in every direction. Each of the 2,942 pieces is waiting to return to its place on the shelves.

A small world of making

The shop holds everything from paint to paper, canvas to ink, masks to lanterns and candles. More than twenty collections appear in dozens of distinct forms, from the graceful curve of a folding fan to the small tiles of a Byzantine mosaic, from the kanji and sakura patterns of paper lanterns to the colorful faces of matryoshka dolls. Every collection has its own shape, texture and palette, and even pieces that share a shelf are set apart by a shade or a pattern.

From chaos to calm

As the piles melt away, the floor slowly reappears. Colors settle into rows, gaps close one by one, and every finished shelf falls into place like the last brushstroke on a canvas.
