About This Game
Arms Race is a bullet hell roguelite with no chests, every item in the game has the potential to be used by an enemy against you. Enemies spawn with random items and weapons, wearing an outfit to match, and every floor is inspired by a different continent's mythology and folklore. With 100+ weapons and items every run plays differently, but the enemy that kills you will rob your grave and use your loot against you next run, creating a perpetual arms race between your own skills and your killer's ever growing arsenal of your own items.
Every item changes you
Arms Race has dozens and dozens of items that, when picked up, visually mutate both you and your bullets changing you permanently.
Die, and your killer takes it all
Once an enemy kills you it robs your grave and takes your items, using them to evolve into the next stage of its power.
It comes back using Your Items
That enemy returns in your next run as a nemesis, far more powerful and fighting you with the items you once had.
Beat it and take your power back
Defeat your rival and you reclaim your loot, evolving yourself into a new stage of your own power.
