Description
A small ship and your predecessor's records are all that remain of a fallen seafaring family. Make the legendary island of Antillia your home, then set sail to rebuild that legacy.
Antillia is a single-player exploration RPG inspired by the geography, history, and legends of the 15th and 16th centuries. Captain your own ship, seek new routes, and turn discoveries and trade into the means for your next expedition. Venture inland, face danger with your companions, and leave the fruits of your travels to the next generation.
A library record or a rumor heard in port can be the beginning of an expedition. Explore by sea and land to investigate cities, ruins, wildlife, and traces of legend. Your chronicle tells more than what you found: it also tells how you reached it—and made it home.
Plan your route around winds and currents. Choose your ships and companions, recruit sailors, and make room for supplies. Buy and sell goods and complete patrons' commissions to fund longer expeditions. The right ship and cargo depend on where you intend to go.
When pirates or hostile ships stand in your way, weigh movement, cannon fire, and boarding in turn-based naval battles. Decide when to close the distance and when to keep it. Personal confrontations call for card-based duels. Protecting your ships and people matters as much as winning the fight.
Build a home on Antillia, gather companions, and establish your family. When one family leader's journey ends, an heir carries its records and achievements forward. Take on royal commissions, encounter events inspired by history, sail around the world, and follow the unfinished records left by those who came before you.
This is a fictional alternate-history game inspired by historical events and legends. Dialogue, relationships, and the course of events have been adapted for the game.
