AnimalCheckers
Checkers, with baby animals
Animal Checkers is the game you already know, played by animals that are far too cute to be this ruthless. Pick a world, pick a side, and start taking pieces.
Three worlds to play in

Jungle — tiger cubs against panther cubs, on warm dirt and grass

Arctic — polar bear cubs against wolf pups, on packed snow and cracked blue ice

Backyard — puppies against kittens, between the doghouse and the picket fence
Each world has its own board, its own scenery and its own sounds — jungle insects, arctic wind, birds over the fence.
Every square has a surface
Pieces don't just slide around a flat grid. Land on dirt and it kicks up a puff of dust. Land on snow and it scatters in the cold air. You can hear the difference under every move.
Cubs grow up
Reach the far side of the board and your cub becomes an adult — bigger, prouder, and free to move in both directions. Getting a wolf pup home is one thing. Getting it home as a wolf is another.
Play it your way

Three difficulty levels — Easy blunders often, Normal plays a fair game, Hard never misses

Two players on one screen, taking turns with the same mouse

Pick your world and opponent before every match

No timers, no accounts, no grinding — sit down and play a round
Simple enough for a child who has just learned the rules. Sharp enough on Hard that you will lose to a kitten.
