Description
Aldmark Calls for Aid is a medieval siege-defence game with no base-building and no resource management. Command your troops directly, and between rounds choose where to light the beacons that call allies to your aid. Every battle earns renown, win or lose, to spend on unlocking and upgrading troops, enhancing your realm, strengthening your defences, and more. Maps are procedurally generated, each level bigger than the last, and victory doesn't have to be the end: keep fighting and see how long you can withstand the siege of Aldmark.

Command: manoeuvre your troops around the battlefield, man the walls to prevent the enemy reaching the city, and protect your supply lines to ensure that the city doesn't starve.
Survive: the enemy will bring battering rams to break through your gate, ladders to scale your walls, and catapults to destroy them.

Scout: preview the lands around Aldmark to see what allies you can call on before committing to placing a beacon.
Light: place and light the beacon to call upon your allies. The further away they are, the longer they take to reach you.

Renown: win or lose, every battle earns renown which is spent on perks in the Muster.
Muster: spend renown to upgrade your soldiers, unlock new troops, build fortifications, recruit mercenary companies, and more.

Map: switch the battlefield from the default colour mode to a sepia style that mimics a parchment campaign map look. The same can be done for soldiers or you can mix and match.
Soldiers: change the colours of soldiers or even turn them into shapes. These options can be helpful for visibility or just for a more abstract play style.

Monarchs: create up to 3 profiles which keep track of your progress; your current siege, level unlocks, renown, and muster perks.
Edicts: choose how you want to play; disable gore and or fallen soldiers, adjust the size of the HUD interface, change key bindings, and more.
