The Console Won't Show Everything
From the first signs to a will of its own — and beyond. The AI's character is shaped by the decisions you make and the modules you install. If you want nothing hidden, you'll have to build both a relationship with it and ways to watch it. Maybe no one will ever see the full picture. But surely you can factory-reset it all before it's too late?
One Power Supply, Two Mouths to Feed
Every turn, you split your power between the AI and the Contour that watches over it. Every upgrade makes them hungrier, raising both what they can do and what's at stake. Pull off an impossible project, boost productivity, repel a cyberattack, give the whole world access: success can be resounding — and imbalance can be fatal.
A World That Plays by the Same Rules
Corporations, the state, intelligence agencies, the media, investors and society — some twenty powers, each with its own interests, technology and relationships. They strike deals and feud — with each other and with you — and they'll take risks to get what they want. Technology, politics or smear campaigns — use whatever works. Sometimes a machine is easier to deal with than people.
