About This Game
Different Eras. One Table.
ABYSSOUL: Fateful Echoes is an asymmetric strategy card battler where characters from across time and space meet at the same table. Each has a distinct identity and unique skills. Combine your hand, character abilities, and items to compete for Fortune as the match unfolds.
Vie for Fortune. Read the Table.
Complete the shifting public Tianshi objectives to gain Fortune. At the start of a match, choose your own Providential Erosion objectives. Read each character, their hand, the Dili order, and clues to hidden intentions. Time your plays and actions to move toward the highest Fortune.
Asymmetric Identities. An Abyssal Shift Changes Everything.
The first character to die in a match triggers an Abyssal Shift: they transform into an Abyssoul and remain in play to take revenge on the others. The balance of the match changes with them. One character's fall can mark the arrival of a new threat.
Combine Cards, Skills, and Items.
Choose items to bring into a match; each grants your character an extra skill. Combine their effects with different character abilities and the cards in your hand, then adapt your strategy to your current goals and the state of the table.
Know When to Leave.
Tianshi objectives, hidden tasks, cards, and skills can all help you gain Fortune. Escape at the right moment instead of overstaying your welcome. Stay at the table to chase more Fortune and a higher final placement. Knowing when to leave is part of the game.
