Dive into the dark depths and cut your way through hordes of abyssal creatures. ABYSS CHRONICLES is a deep-sea hack-and-slash action RPG about exploring drowned kingdoms, growing your character your own way, and chasing the gear that defines your build.
Hack, slash and loot beneath the sea
Clear swarms with skills, mix shooting, melee, magic and organic attacks, read enemy telegraphs, dodge, and punish every opening. Every fight drops loot: common, magic, rare and legendary gear with randomized affixes. From the very first sea, every enemy has its own temperament, movement and answer. Some will feint — but if you see the line, it's real.
Six races. Six ways to grow.
Humans upgrade weapons and armor and advance into new classes. Awakened Machines assemble modules around space, power and cooling. Merfolk set legendary weapons in orbit to chain their attacks. Ancient Hybrids fuse organs and genes through mutation. Nautil Voyagers from the surface command the battlefield with anchors and lines, tides and buoyant shell chambers. The Crystalline Coral of the deep plant, grow and harvest crystals, turning the blows they absorb into resonance. Each race has its own equipment screen, skills and progression, and its look changes as it grows.
Hunt legendary gear
Chase legendary items with build-changing effects, complete forged sets, socket runes, and reroll, upgrade, awaken or mutate your favorite pieces. Salvage what you don't need into materials for the next upgrade.
Explore a connected deep-sea world
Eight connected worlds of shipwrecks, sunken ruins, hidden caves and waypoints. Activate ancient devices, take on combat events and uncover the story of the drowned kingdoms, with no oxygen timer to interrupt the action.
Face the giants of the abyss
Learn boss telegraphs and phase changes, break their weak points, and raise the pressure for richer rewards. Then dive again with another race or another build.
