Description
About This Game
A Game About Cleaning a River is a relaxing cleanup and progression game about restoring polluted waterways one piece of trash at a time. Explore heavily contaminated rivers, collect everything from plastic bottles and cans to tires, crates, and other discarded junk, then turn what you recover into resources for better equipment.
As you clean each area, the river gradually becomes a healthier and more pleasant place. Clear the water, improve the surroundings, expand your collection of tools, and watch neglected environments slowly come back to life.
Clean Up the River
Travel through polluted stretches of water and remove the trash floating on the surface, stuck near the banks, or hidden among larger piles of debris. Different types of waste may require different tools and approaches.
Sort and Sell What You Collect
Not everything you find is useless. Sort collected waste into different categories and sell recyclable materials to earn money. The more you clean, the more resources you can recover and turn into profit.
Upgrade Your Tools
Improve your equipment to work faster and reach more difficult pieces of trash. Increase efficiency, capacity, reach, and other useful characteristics as you progress through dirtier and more challenging areas.
Buy New Equipment
Use the money you earn to purchase new cleanup tools and unlock new ways to deal with pollution. Better equipment allows you to handle larger objects, collect waste more efficiently, and access new parts of the river.
Craft Useful Tools
Combine recovered materials and resources to craft additional equipment for your cleanup work. Turn the things you find into something useful and gradually build a better set of tools.
Watch the World Change
Your work has a visible effect on the environment. Trash disappears, the water becomes cleaner, and previously neglected areas begin to feel alive again.
Collect. Sell. Upgrade. Repeat.
Make all rivers great again!
