Voracious is a hack and slash action game that tells a story of lust and greed. It was inspired by classic fantasy action games (Golden Axe, Rastan) where hero fights hordes of enemies. In Voracious however, the story is more important than the thrill of simple combat. This is not a story about revenge or treasure hunting but a story about humanity’s worst traits – greed and lust for power. The art style goes further into simplicity than common retro pixel games. It uses ultra-simple black and white vector graphics.

You play as a retired boxer who looking for his stolen dog. The game follows a classic arcade brawler. Characters and backgrounds are based on old pictures from 1910s, 20s and 30s so this is a true retro game.

TOBAFCASS (Thief of Bagdad - A Flying Carpet Arabian Side Shooter) is a side shooter with unique visual style and characteristic electronic music. For both the story and visual style I took inspiration from "The thief of Bagdad" a 1924 classic silent adventure movie with Douglas Fairbanks. Game mechanics are of classic ultra-hard side shooter. In particular I was inspired by "Agony" a beautiful yet unforgiving Amiga game from the 90s. Finally most of the enemies come from "Kunstformen der natur" a book by Ernst Hackel full of litoghraphic illustrations of bizzare creatures perfectly organized with Prussian precision and devotion to symmetry.

"The Bear, the Cat and the Rabbit" is a short adventure with couple "think outside the box" puzzles. You control three anthropomorphic animals on a strange quest in abandoned yet hostile environment. All this in semi-isometric, 16-bit retro style.
