Psycho Killer is an adventure game with the interaction restricted to "jumping" from picture to picture, occasionally clicking on the screen in order to find objects that are possible to interact with. As in other interactive movies, some parts presented as video sequences, during which the player has to make the correct action quickly in order to succeed.

A text based adventure game released in 1981 and has similar content to "Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards" developed by Al Lowe which is based on "Softporn Adventure". It was ported to PC in 1991 and has also been included in some Leisure Suit Larry Collection editions.

You are in control of a stationary gun turrent at the bottom of the screen. Planes drop bombs and paratroopers jump out of helicopters which you have to shoot. Every hit gains you points - every shot you fire looses you points. You have lost if a bomb destroys your turrent, a paratrooper lands directly on your turrent or four paratroopers land at any side of your turrent. In that case they are able to build a human pyramid to infiltrate your turrent and blow it up.

But due to its easy difficulty level it was released as number zero in Sierra's Hi-Res Adventure series. The game's parser only understands simple one- or two-word commands.

Princess Priscilla has been kidnapped and the player seems to be the only valliant hero willing to rescue the damsel in distress. This is the second text adventure with illustrating graphics released by Sierra. Communicating with the game works via entering commands which tell the player's alter ego where to go and what to do. Since the parser is a very basic one it only understands two-word commands. Two years after its initial release, the game was renamed "Adventure in Serenia" for its PC release. This suggested sequel was, however, exactly the same game as in its previous incarnation.
