Before you press start
Play these in release order, as Syberia II continues directly from the first game. The World Before adds a second heroine, Dana Roze, in the 1930s. Amerzone, Sokal's 1999 adventure, shares the setting and is an optional extra.
More than the main path
Kate Walker sets out to close a factory sale and ends up chasing inventor Hans Voralberg across Europe, with the automaton Oscar at her side. By Syberia II she has given up her way home to find an island said to shelter the last mammoths. Sokal's art gives it all a quiet, wintry sadness.
