The complete journey / Running With Scissors
Bad taste, on purpose
Running With Scissors started this deliberately offensive shooter line in 1997. Its Postal Dude has stumbled through open-ended errands, spin-offs and a retconned third game ever since.

Game 1 of 7
01 of 07
Take control of The POSTAL Dude in his infamous first outing as he battles to survive in a world gone mad! POSTAL is a classic isometric shooter filled to the brim with fast-paced explosive action.
Before you press start
Story barely matters here. Postal 2 shows what the series is about, and Postal 4 is its true sequel. Redux remakes the 1997 game. Running With Scissors treats Postal III as a non-canon spin-off, so you can skip it.
More than the main path
The 1997 original was a grim isometric shooter. Postal 2 turned the formula into dark comedy, with a first-person town and a weekly list of chores you can finish peacefully or not. Postal 4 picks that idea back up, while Brain Damaged goes for retro arena speed.

Live a week in the life of "The POSTAL Dude"; a hapless everyman just trying to check off some chores. Buying milk, returning an overdue library book, getting Gary Coleman's autograph, what could possibly go wrong?
When the credits roll
Good or Insane? The choice is yours. Following the Apocalyptic end to the Postal Dude’s week in Paradise, we follow him and his insane pitbull Champ as they emigrate to its appropriately named sister city, Catharsis.
