Slice them, burn them, skewer them, and launch them - no matter how you get it done, orcs must die in this fantasy action-strategy game from Robot Entertainment.
Before you press start
The story is light, so any entry works. The original is the plainest lesson in traps and timing, and the numbered sequels build on it. Deathtrap suits fans of roguelite runs. Unchained's servers closed in 2019, so skip it.
More than the main path
Robot's series is tower defence with a third-person hero in the thick of it. Unchained tried free-to-play multiplayer before closing in 2019, Orcs Must Die! 3 returned to the formula, and Deathtrap brought roguelite runs and four-player co-op in 2025.

You’ve tossed, burned and sliced them by the thousands – now orcs must die more than ever before! Grab a friend and slay orcs in untold numbers in this sequel to the 2011 AIAS Strategy Game of the Year from Robot Entertainment.
Wisecracking multiplayer action that uniquely blends the strategic depth of a MOBA with intense third-person combat as you fight in a wild battle for fortress supremacy. Orcs Must Die! Unchained is a high-octane PvP action game in which you storm the opposing fortress together with your friends and defend your own base. Your enemies are also sending their minions to your rift – construct a maze of traps and beat back everything they send at you. Grinding, roasting, slashing or good old-fashioned thumping – every dirty trick is at your disposal when both attacking and defending.
