Survival under a dead Moscow
Post-apocalyptic first-person shooters from 4A Games, adapted from Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels. Scarce ammo, gas masks and the Moscow Metro set the tone from 2010 onwards.

Under Moscow. Metro 2033 and Last Light keep Artyom in and around the Moscow Metro, a world of faction politics, mutants and failing air filters. The 2014 Redux editions rebuilt both games with updated visuals and gameplay.

A legacy worth revisiting
Nuclear war drove Moscow's survivors underground, and the Metro games make every filter and bullet count. Artyom's story runs from cramped stations to the ruined surface, then out across Russia by train. Tense, slow and heavy with atmosphere, it plays nothing like a standard shooter.
