Demons, gods and hard choices
Atlus's demon-summoning RPG family began in 1987 with games based on Aya Nishitani's novels, and spread into Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Devil Summoner and more.
One world. Many eras.
Spin-offs take root. Revelations: Persona moved the demon formula into a modern school setting, Soul Hackers pushed Devil Summoner into cyberpunk, and the two Persona 2 games closed the decade.

A legacy worth revisiting
Across its branches, the line shares one hook: you negotiate with demons, recruit them and fuse them into stronger allies. Settings range from ruined Tokyo to high school, and the tone stays dark. Persona, Devil Summoner and Digital Devil Saga each took that core somewhere new.
