A comic universe, played many ways
Games built on the Marvel comics universe, licensed out since 1982. Fighters, card battlers, tactics games and hero shooters from many studios share one enormous cast.
One world. Many eras.
Arcades and 16-bit. Konami's X-Men and Capcom's Marvel Super Heroes put the cast in arcades, while home licences such as Silver Surfer and The Incredible Hulk filled console shelves.

A legacy worth revisiting
No single studio owns Marvel in games, so the licence has gone everywhere. Capcom and Arc System Works made fighters, Firaxis made Midnight Suns, Second Dinner made a card battler and NetEase made a team shooter. The characters stay familiar while the rules change completely.
