NBA 2K7 is a basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the eighth installment in the NBA 2K franchise and the successor to NBA 2K6. It was released in September 2006 for Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3. Shaquille O'Neal is the cover athlete of the game. NBA 2K7 is the predecessor to NBA 2K8 in the NBA 2K series. The game strives to simulate the experience of the National Basketball Association and attempts to be as realistic as possible. Players play NBA basketball games with real life teams in a variety of game modes. Players may customize the gameplay, as well as the players, and can take control of an NBA team as the general manager, hiring coaches, and making a profit. The game features all the main aspects found in the NBA, such as commentary, realistic crowd animations, and halftime shows. The game's overall gameplay, as well as the aesthetics, was said to have been significantly improved before release. NBA 2K7 received a positive reception upon release. NHL 2K7

NHL 2K7 is an ice hockey video game made by 2K Sports, and published on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Xbox 360 consoles. It features San Jose Sharks centre Joe Thornton on its cover. Bob Cole and Harry Neale return from NHL 2K6 to provide commentary. New features in the game include improved animations that are mainly geared towards skating. 2K7 also includes a new gameplay setting called "Cinemotion". This feature uses close up camera angles as well as dramatic music to capture the intensity of the game. The game was also the first ice hockey simulation to be made for the PlayStation 3.

It has new features, such as Inside Edge, World Baseball Classic, online experience and many more. This game also features various aspects that are new to baseball games, including fans shouting, the "swing stick", showboat catches, fans catching balls, and power rankings.

College Hoops 2K6

2K Sports hits the court with COLLEGE HOOPS 2K6 for the PS2. With the focus more on coaching instead of playing with big-name stars, COLLEGE HOOPS 2K6 puts the player in charge of an NCAA team of their own. Gamers can select from nearly every NCAA coach currently in the industry or create their own. Each coach has a number of different attributes, and these attributes will determine many different aspects of the game. Charisma, for example, affects recruitment and player confidence, while discipline will help players focus on the game. Players may also bring issues to the coach to solve, which also affects the team's playing ability as well. Gamers will also have access to the coach's clipboard during the game. The clipboard will pop up automatically when gamers need to make adjustments instead of requiring gamers to access a series of menus. Another new feature are the four points of emphasis: ball control, defense, rebounding, and shot selection. Selecting one will boast the team's particular effectiveness in that area proportionate to the coach's attributes. Recruiting, likewise, has been upgraded and tweaked. Gamers can track 15 potential recruits during the season, watching their interest levels and stats and have the option of controlling the recruiting themselves or allowing the assistant coaches to deal many of the decisions. COLLEGE HOOPS 2K6 perfectly captures all of the aspects of coaching a NCAA team but, with assistant coaches and other options, never makes the gamer feel overwhelmed.

It is to this day the only title in the series that uses the "College Basketball" designation rather than "College Hoops". It is also the only title for the series to appear on the GameCube and the GameCube's only college basketball game. It features former Duke Blue Devils guard Jay Williams on the cover. This game was released in very limited quantities and is one of the more difficult GameCube titles to find.

It was published by Sega and developed by Visual Concepts. It is a part of the NBA 2K series. Again, like the previous games, Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers is the cover athlete. This is the last game in the series to be released for GameCube and the fourth installment in the series overall.

As the foremost "2K" title, it marked the beginning of a running athletics series that eventually led to the spinning off of 2K's sports publishing business under the name of 2K Sports. Upon the Dreamcast's discontinuation, the series continued to be published for other sixth generation game systems and became the chief competitor of EA Sports's Madden NFL series. However, after the competitively priced NFL 2K5 significantly reduced sales of that year's Madden release, EA signed an exclusivity deal with the NFL that made Madden NFL the only series allowed to use NFL team and player names. After losing the NFL license, Visual Concepts made a brief return to developing football games with the release of All-Pro Football 2K8, which featured former NFL players.

Initially discontinued after the release of NHL 2K11 in 2010, the brand was revived on mobile devices in 2014. The games are officially licensed from the National Hockey League and NHL Players Association. While its games were released on consoles, its main competition was EA Sports' NHL video games.

NBA 2K2 is a basketball video game. It is the third installment in the NBA 2K series of video games and it was developed by Visual Concepts and published by Sega Sports. It was released on October 24, 2001 on the Sega Dreamcast and later ported to the Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and the Xbox in 2002. NBA 2K2 featured more street courts such as Mosswood, Fonde Rec Center, Venice Beach, etc. The game still featured the old street courts like in the previous game NBA 2K1. Included in NFL 2K2 are all the teams and plays from the 2001-2002 season, including stadiums and uniforms.

Ooga Booga takes place on a set of mystical islands in the tropics. Named after the Volcano Goddess, the Ooga Booga Island rises from the sea once every full moon and during this time, four tribes compete in a series of games. 1997 edition of EA's NHL sport simulation series. Improvements in this edition come mostly in the graphical arena, with a refined version of the "virtual stadium" system that adds new camera angles (including the classical top-down one strangely missing from NHL 96), and polygonal players instead of the bitmap-based ones with motion-captured animations. Other extras include multiplayer support for up to 8 players through network or Gravis's GrIP system, the option to create new players and trade them around, and the usual amount of EA sports licensed multimedia flair, including an interesting "Goalie Mask Viewer" which lets you observe the elaboratedly decorated helmets of 30 goalies.

Toughman Contest

Toughman Contest is a game based on the world famous boxing competition of the same name. You pick one of 24 fighters, compete in one of 5 locations from around the world, and re-create the Toughman tournament as seen on TV. The boxing action is viewed from behind the back of fighter you control. Your fighter is rendered as an outline, so you can see what your opponent is up to and react accordingly. Toughman matches consist of three one minute rounds. Your goal is to KO your opponent by causing their stamina meter to decrease to the point where they fall down, or beating on them enough that you are scored the winner at end of the third round.

Seven different warriors, eached armed with a unique weapon set forth on a fighting game quest where they will clash and conflict with one another in this fighting game from Namco. Their ultimate foe is the mysterious Demonlord. An early relative of the popular Soul Calibur series, the main claim to fame of this game is the weapon play. Blocking and combos are present along with special "frenzies" of increased attack and death combos. The backgrounds are all hand drawn and meticulously detailed. Each character carries their own storyline with them between arenas, jungles and firey mountains on a quest to oppose the Demonlord. Note: Laid the groundwork for Soul Edge (1995)--the first of the Souls games. Visual Concepts (developers of WeaponLord) would send builds of the game to Namco (the publisher of WeaponLord) to playtest. Inturn, Mace: The Dark Age (1997 arcade)--developed by Atari--heavily "borrowed" from Soul Edge.

Dominus is a strategy game developed by Visual Concepts and published by U.S. Gold, originally released for IBM PCs in 1994. Conversions to the Sega Mega Drive and SNES were in development around this time and were set to be published by Asciiware. However, for unknown reasons, both versions were cancelled. A prototype ROM of the Mega Drive version, dated 1993, has since been unearthed, showing an incomplete game without any sound.

ClayFighter: Tournament Edition

Most scenarios were changed or redone, the graphics are brighter and the gameplay is faster. The characters can now perform three and four-hit combos. Fists and feet will fly (and other parts) as Frosty and his friends smack it out in head-to-head fighting action. ClayFighter is a fighting game released for the Super NES in November 1993 and later ported to Sega Genesis in June 1994. The game is a parody of Street Fighter. In 2009, the Genesis version was re-released on the Wii Virtual Console.

We're Back!: A Dinosaur's Story

We're Back!: A Dinosaur's Story is different from it's Genesis counterpart. This version features character's from the movie, but does not follow the storyline of the movie. In this version, Professor Screw Eyes has kidnapped Louie and Cecilia. Hearing of this, Captain Neweyes and the dinosaurs launch into action to save their friends by traveling through various time periods. The gameplay is a side-scroller that has the player take control of Rex, traveling throughout the levels avoiding traps and defeating various enemies scattered throughout the stages (five in all). Rex can also receive help from his dinosaur pals, Elsa, Woog, Vorb, and Dweeb from time to time. There are also power-ups that increase and replenish Rex's health.
