The player controls a llama which can move on a single-screen playfield. The llama constantly fires a stream of white energy bolts in the direction it is moving. The player can 'hold' the fire direction, so that the llama can move freely whilst firing in a direction; alternatively the player can control the game with two joysticks, choosing the move and fire directions independently.

Yet again earth is under attack by the slimelords of Xtharrgg. The positive is that a few of the very latest Vorton Hyper X-13 UltraStarfighters are at hand, the negative, the only pilot good enough to fly them is you! Super Grid Runner was an iteration of Llamasoft's popular Gridrunner series for next generation computer families of the day, starting with the Atari ST. While this version includes new sprites, graphic effects and a new power up system, the game remains faithful to the original VIC-20 classic.

Jeff Minter's third camel-themed game (after Attack and Revenge) is again a horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up, taking place over 100 levels. 6,000 years ago, mankind fought the forces of Zzyax, using mutated forms of common animals. Now, the Zzyaxians are back, and the 90-foot camels must defend a planet no longer accustomed to warfare. The Zzyaxian hordes consist of typical Minter zaniness. Postboxes and letters, Pacman ghosts and microchips are all out to get you. The game allows you to fire in any direction, by moving the joystick while holding down the fire button. Additionally, you can drop miniature versions of yourself, as bombs. After completing a level or losing a life, the player can move to a level adjacent to the current one within a 10x10 grid. You can also purchase improved shields, energy recharges, or improved weaponry such as bigger or 'smart' bullets.

The gameplay involves you shooting at enemies until the floor or walls change to let you move to the next screen which can be seen on the map in the corner of the screen. Each level has different themes ranging from skull and crossbones to cigarette papers and lighters.

A sequel of sorts to Attack of the Mutant Camels, this time the player controls a camel. The camel is armed by default with small blue shots, but can obtain other weapons and weapon upgrades by collecting power-ups during the game. Matrix: Gridrunner 2, began development shortly after the runaway success of it's predecessor, Gridrunner. Jeff Minter would again develop the game first for the Commodore VIC-20 computers, this time though targeting memory expanded machines, allowing for new enemies and gameplay features not possible in the previous game. This game would also begin Llamasoft's now infamous camel motif within it's games. When originally released in North America for Commodore computers, the title was renamed to "Attack of the Mutant Camels" which, confusingly, is the same title is used for the unrelated Llamasoft title, Attack of the Mutant Camels, both which were released in 1983.

The player controls a small jetplane and has the task of killing giant yellow camels before they reach the home base. Doing so requires several dozens of shots. The camels retaliate by shooting fireballs from their mouth. Each camel required several shots to destroy; if a camel reached the base, the game was over. Once all camels on a level had been killed, the player had to survive a "hyperspace" sequence which required avoiding high-speed missiles. Upon successful completion, the next level presented a new wave of camels, with slightly harder gameplay.

You have to destroy the aliens before they manage to whisk away your precious camelid, if they manage to get them to the top of the screen they mutate into horrors that will come after you, resulting in a fatal collision. Each surviving llama gives you a bonus at the end of each stage.

Abductor is a side view single screen shooter where you control a spacecraft at the bottom of the screen, moving left or right, and you have to blast and destroy all aliens that appear in various formations above. Below your craft are six humans and you must stop them being taken by swooping aliens to the top of the screen and if they reach the top, they turn into skulls and fall down the screen. If you are hit by an alien or falling skull then you lose one of three lives but if you lose all the humans then it is game over.
